In 1920, Aviation itself was struggling to achieve Public Acceptance in the United States
This speed race spurred progress in aerospace engineering to increase nearly 100mph by 1925
After a century dormant, it's time to bring back the Pulitzer legacy to inspire a new class of aviators
The inaugural race will feature a 50-nautical-mile triangular course focused on speed. Entries must be all-electric, crewed aircraft with FAA airworthiness approval. While showcasing engineering progress, the event also seeks to encourage young talent and gender equality in aviation & aerospace.
